Hi, I'm Melie
I've been reading out loud since I was two, and it just took me a few decades to make a career of it. With a BM in Voice Performance and an MA in Creative Writing, plus years editing novels across romance, mystery, and nonfiction, I narrate with a story-first instinct and a trained voice. I'm also a proud SAG-AFTRA member.
My sweet spot is clean romance and warm, characterful fiction, but I'm increasingly booked for neuroscience-informed nonfiction, and that's no accident. I've done graduate-level study in Psychology and the Neuroscience of Mental Health, and I begin a PhD in Social Psychology in Fall 2026. So when a script leans on the science, you get narration that's not just clear, but genuinely credible.
Off-mic, I'm just as happy making things. I host a podcast, I'm writing my own book (out 2027), and I build apps, including one for growing resilience. I've also co-written comedy (yes, a web series with Creed Bratton), and when the headphones come off you'll likely find me knitting. My job is simple: tell your story in the most authentic, true-to-you way possible.
